Dr. Habīb Boerger is a spiritual counselor, mentor, and teacher dedicated to accessible, inclusive spirituality. Dr. Habīb hosts Beyond Names: Spirituality for Anyone and Everyone, a podcast exploring heart-centered, interspiritual living -- a multifaith podcast focusing on spiritual stories and discussing how spirituality manifests in our everyday lives, which was in part inspired by the work of Sacred Design Lab.
Dr. Habīb’s spiritual path has been diverse and expansive—from growing up in a conservative Christian church to studying at a progressive Christian school and at Islamic institutions, from drinking ayahuasca with a shaman in the Amazon to completing the hajj pilgrimage in Mecca. He draws on this rich tapestry of experience to support others with compassion, wisdom, and openness. His work is grounded in the belief that all spiritual paths can offer insight and healing. He is especially passionate about the intersection of neuroscience and contemplative practice, the power of shared spiritual wisdom, and creating bridges across traditions. For over 20 years, he has been teaching on spirituality and spiritual practices with a commitment to making them accessible to all. Dr. Habīb is also a Compassion-Based Spiritual Direction Co-Trainer with the Center for Engaged Compassion.
