Coaching the Inner Lives of Athletes, Building Contemplative Community
Hello! I am a contemplative community-builder working in multiple contexts.
I walk alongside athletes with the spiritual questions of sport: identity, purpose, grief, and transitions. I work with coaches and leaders to build communities that support belonging and joy within high-stress environments.
I am also building contemplative community for young adults in this uncertain time. Many young adults find themselves anxious, lonely, and looking for deeper community—they want to be a part of something bigger than themselves and live a fulfilling life. This space is designed to reclaim ancient human gathering practices like ritual and story outside of religious tradition.
My inspirations include Hillary McBride, Wayne Muller, Howard Thurman, David Whyte, Paul Tillich, adrienne maree brown, Martin Buber, Robin Wall Kimmerer, Parker Palmer, Anthony de Mello, Krista Tippett, Henri Nouwen, and Marcia Mount Shoop, among many others.
Within the Spiritual Innovation community, I am eager to explore practices for financial stability that are creative, equitable and justice-oriented.
